A SACRED GREETING
Namaste :
A greeting that roughly means, “I honor the place in you in which the entire universe dwells, I honor the place in you which is of love, of truth, of light, and of peace. When you are in that place in you, and I am in that place in me, We are One.”
“The light (or God) in me honors the light (or God) within you”.
Peace and understanding are inferred because the greeting is said with the intention of uniting two spirits.
When two spirits unite they have no choice but to have some understanding of the other.
Unity and understanding are the first steps to peace.
I find the Divinity within myself.
